Please include instructions for how to apply.: The Pritzker Legal Research Center, Northwestern University’s law library, seeks an archival intern or practicum student for the Spring 2017 semester. This position will principally work on processing archival collections and creating finding aids, although preservation and digitization projects are also a possibility.

No background in law is necessary, however prior education and/or experience in an archives is preferred. The ideal candidate should be enrolled in an academic program, attentive to detail, responsible, and a strong communicator. The intern or practicum student also must be available to work at least 10 to 15 hours during the work week (Monday through Friday, 9 am—5 pm). While this position is unpaid, we will work with the successful candidate to earn academic credit and provide experience beneficial to his or her educational and career goals.
